High-Angle Steering
4-Tec Drift Drift offers over 60° of steering angle at full lock to allow for big sideways drifts and quick transitions. The front suspension is tuned specifically for drifting, with new steering blocks, bellcranks, and a drag link optimized for maximum throw.
 
Customizable Drift Modes
Only 4-Tec Drift lets you choose from three customizable drift modes. Innovative TSM Drift technology replaces old-school drift gyros with smooth, precise control that can be fine-tuned with the Traxxas Link app. New drivers can drift like a pro without specialized knowledge or skills, while advanced enthusiasts will enjoy refined controls for even smoother performance.
 
Clipless Ford Mustang Body
4-Tec Drift raises the bar for durability, ease of use, and scale detailing with an all-new clipless Ford Mustang body. Stunning metallic paint contrasts with molded body details for a striking look and modern Mustang styling. Body fasteners integrate neatly into the molded hood vents and rear spoiler for added reinforcement and a seamless look.
 
TQ i Radio with Wireless Module
A Traxxas Link Wireless Module is included to unlock the full potential of 4-Tec Drift’s powerful TSM drift modes. Use the full-color graphical interface to personalize the 3-channel TQi radio settings and unlock advanced tuning features. Tap the side parking brake button to initiate rotation and begin your drift.
 
Hard and Soft Tires Included
4-Tec Drift is designed for maximum versatility with two sets of 1.9” drift tires included in the box. Use the factory-installed hard compound tires on any hard, abrasive surface like pavement or cement. The included soft compound tires provide refined drift control on polished surfaces.
 
New Rear-Wheel Drive Platform
4-Tec Drift rides on a new rear-wheel drive platform based on the responsive 200mm 4-Tec chassis. The front bulkhead and suspension are all new to provide optimal drift geometry and over 60° of steering angle. Drivers can take advantage of individual settings for caster, roll center, ackerman, track width and more.
 
TSM Drift Modes
4-Tec Drift has selectable drift modes to suit your driving style. No matter your skill level, TSM’s advanced programming makes it easier than ever to drift like a pro.
 
TSM Drift Mode
Once a driver initiates a drift, TSM Drift Mode interprets their input and seamlessly applies just enough steering and throttle assistance to maintain the intended drift angle. The out-of-the-box settings are tuned for the widest range of drivers and surfaces. It is not recommended to adjust these settings until the driver is familiar with the car. As driving skill increases, TSM Drift settings offer innovative new tuning for different surface conditions and driving styles.
Steering Angle
This slider controls how much steering angle the driver can input with the steering wheel. By default, this control is set to 50% using the multifunction button on the transmitter. Setting it to 50% helps prevent drivers who have never drifted before from spinning their wheels and creating an extreme push condition. Steering angle can also be adjusted in the Traxxas Link app.
STEERING REFLEX – This slider controls how much TSM steering assistance is applied to maintain drift angle. This control works the same as the TSM control on other Traxxas models, except the output is specifically tuned for drifting and high steering angles.
THROTTLE REFLEX – This slider controls how much TSM throttle assistance is applied to maintain drift angle. Decrease the percentage for less throttle assistance, increase the percentage for more.
SPINOUT ASSIST – This control senses when the car is approaching a full spinout and automatically allows TSM to intervene and adjust the throttle.
