For the Traxxas Slash 4x4 speeds of 100+ km/h are not a problem (with a 3S 11.1V lipo battery, not included as standard). Because the Slash 4x4 has a fairly large body, it immediately protects the entire chassis. The model is delivered completely pre-assembled including transmitter. Traxxas Stability Management

Traxxas TQi 2.4GHZ control
The Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL is equipped with a very advanced TQi transmitter set. The Traxxas TQi 2.4ghz system offers you the possibility to use telemetry sensors such as speed, speed, and speed. When the transmitter is equipped with the Bluetooth module, these values can be displayed on your IOS/Android device (not included). The TQi transmitter is fully adjustable! For example, you can set the handlebar and gas endpoints (EPA), but also the handlebar sensitivity (EXPO), throttle sensitivity (EXPO), handlebar percentage (Dual Rate), brake percentage (Dual Rate), and gas trim. With the TQi 2.4GHz high output transmitter set you have a range of about 300 meters. With this transmitter, no crystals are used and you do not have a fixed frequency. You no longer have to worry about driving with several people at the same time.
 
Waterproof electronics
The receiver, servo, regulator, and motor are sealed so that driving through water, snow, or mud is no problem. This gives you the opportunity to ride the Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL in places where you normally can not drive
 
Battery and charger
The Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL is now delivered without battery and charger, so you can decide for yourself whether you want to drive on an 8,4V NiMh battery or 7.4 / 11.1V LiPo. This can affect the speed considerably, a good choice if you are starting to take the 11.1v LiPo battery right away because some experience is wise.

You can equip this model with a Traxxas iD LiPo battery(s) that it will run longer and faster, for this you need a Traxxas iD LiPo charger to be able to charge it safely, the iD charger will automatically recognize the Traxxas iD LiPo battery and you do not have to set anything anymore, just press start!
No more difficult setting options that are completely unnecessary.
The Traxxas iD charger series also has a Storage (battery storage) mode which significantly extends the life of your batteries!
Make sure LiPo mode on your model is activated:
RED Led NiMh mode, and a GREEN LED LiPo mode.
Switch between NiMh/LiPo mode is easy by turning on the model and holding the EZ-Set button for more than 10 seconds.
